Avril Lavigne Concert Deemed "Too Sexy"

avril-lavigne-nc

Avril Lavigne’s on-stage dance moves are not sitting well with Malaysia’s Islamic opposition party.  They are so disturbed by it that they have asked the government to cancel her upcoming concert (set for August 29th in Kuala Lumpur).  Apparently, the Canadian punk princess is “too sexy” for them.

The department is expected to meet sometime today to decide whether the show will go on.

Well, it’s not the first time this type of thing has happened.  Gwen Stefani was forced to make a “major sacrifice” by changing her wardrobe to reveal less skin during her performances and Christina Aguilera and Beyoncé skipped over the country during their Asian tours.  Also, the Pussycat Dolls were fined $2,857 USD after they were accused of flouting decency regulations (uhhh, that was probably legitimate.  I’m sorry but those girls are nasty to me, lol).

Not surprised The Pussycat Trannies were accused of decency laws but dear, sweet Avril? No way, she’s gorgeous.
