I could not agree with you more. Geraldine Hunt's contribution to the Canadian Music Industry is unsurpassed! From soul to Disco to Dance and jazz, this wonderful lady does it all. I remember listening to Geraldine singing Glad I'm in Love Again as well as Can't Fake the Feeling, BOTH ARE TIMELESS! Could you imagine these two songs with a Jazz arrangement...and the vocal power that only Geraldine could give us. OMG! Not to mention her early recordings en francais...I believe that we need a column like this to remember the great Canadian Artists that paved the way. Artists like Geraldine Hunt, Keith Hampshire (daytime, nighttime), Dr. Music (sun goes by) Brenda Russel (with her former husband Brian Russel) etc I could go on forever!
