This song, “Not as We” is the second released single off of Alanis Morissette’s album, “Flavors of Entanglement.” The song was written by Alanis. I think it’s a beautiful song. It’s got great lyrics, a good melody and I like the story. I found it a bit repetitive, but I still liked it.

I started this blog a month ago because I feel like Canadian music needs a little more recognition. There aren’t a lot of sites or blogs on the subject and that left me a little frustrated. That was, until, I realized a few things.

Juana Molina will be touring with Canadian singer, Feist, as she leads up to the release of her fourth album “Un Dia,” which is set to be released on October 7, 2008. The Argentinean’s new record features “stripped-down instrumentation, bold rhythmic roots and some of the most personal lyrics she’s ever written.” Sounds like a great match for Feist!
