Sarah McLachlan To Receive Special Award at 2009 Junos

Canadian singer/songwriter, Sarah McLachlan, will be recognized at the 2009 Juno Awards in Vancouver for her humanitarian work.  In 1997, she created Lillith Fair with an aim at promoting women in the music industry.  The touring festival raised more than $7 million for charity in just three years.

Nickelback Releases "Dark Horse" Album

Alberta rockers, Nickelback, have released a new album called "Dark Horse."
The first single is "Gotta Be Somebody" which is good but I think there are better tracks on the album.
