Hedley Plays Through the Rain at Stampede

Wow… okay, first of all, let me just say that I wish I had better pictures. Right before Hedley took to the stage, it started lightning and then it just plain out started pouring. I had neither an umbrella nor a protective thing for my camera so I had to find a windowed area inside a nearby building and I’m not even going to tell you how bad that was (people were grumpy - let’s leave it at that).

Now for the good news! Hedley didn’t seem bothered at all by the rain. In fact, they played right through it like the award-winning band that they are! Frontman, Jacob Hoggard, brought so much personality and energy that you almost forgot how cold you were! I’ve loved him since his days on Canadian Idol (see my favorite performance here). I was also lucky enough to see them live at the 2008 Juno Awards (see some pictures from the Juno Fan Fare!).
