]]> David Foster was on The View earlier this week where he accompanied former American Idol finalist, Katharine McPhee, on the piano as she sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."  David, of course, was great but I was not overly impressed with her vocals.  I am not completely sure what he sees in her.  I think her timing is weird (although, it has improved since her days on Idol), she lacks control and she is just so over-the-top.  I like the tone of her voice but that’s really about it. 

The pair worked together on David Foster and Friends which is now available on CD/DVD.
