Canadian rockers, Nickelback, performed a few songs from their new album Dark Horse for the Walmart Soundcheck series including "Rockstar," "Gotta Be Somebody," "Animals" and "This Afternoon."  You can watch the whole thing on the Soundcheck site.  In the meantime, here’s a preview:

Canadian singer, Alanis Morrissette, made an appearance on Rosie Live last night.  The show, created by Rosie O’Donnell, was supposed to be a throwback to the old variety shows that we used to love (think Sonny & Cher).  I haven’t read one good review and I’m disappointed to say that my PVR didn’t record it and I can’t find many videos online yet. 

Apparently, Alanis sang "a song referencing the 12 Steps in front of… an endless loop of geese flying through a sunset."  Wow… That sounds very unfortunate (yikes!).  If I find a video, I’ll be sure to put it up.  In the meantime, here is the promo for the show so you can have a better idea of what it was about.
