Sven Gali Guitarist Dee Cernile Dies

Guitarist Dee Cernile of the Canadian hard rock band Sven Gali died on February 25, 2012 after a lengthy battle with lung cancer at the age of 46.  The band was popular in the 90s and was signed to BMG Canada.  They started in 1987 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, released their first album in 1992 and broke up in 1996 but reunited in 2007.   According to Cernile’s Facebook page, he’d been working on a new record toward the end of his life. “It won’t be another SVEN GALI record, but it will rock,” he wrote.
