Geddy Lee writes letter to save the Sam the Record Man sign

In another event related to the ongoing saga of Toronto’s Sam the Record Man sign, Geddy Lee of RUSH has recently written a letter to save the historic landmark. As we reported on September 19, 2013, numerous well known Canadian music stars have written in support of the sign as it is seen as important to the heritage of Canadian music.  Ryerson University, the current owner of the sign and its former location, have been attempting to relocate the sign instead of installing it at its original location on Yonge Street which it says is technically impossible.

In this latest letter written by Geddy Lee, the Canadian music legend writes that the Sam the Record Man sign and store were important fixtures and that Ryerson and Toronto should preserve it. Read the letter below:
