Winnipeg band has gear stolen in Vancouver

Winnipeg’s Little Miss Higgins and the Winnipeg Five had just played a gig at the St. James Hall in Vancouver on Friday night. They then stayed at the Quality Inn near Howe Street where their van was broken into.  Three guitars, an amp and a banjo was stolen.  One of the guitars that was stolen was returned after it was found on a person riding a bike. That guitar was a vintage Kay.  The band is continuing to tour across Canada with recently acquired rental equipment.
