TORONTO INDIE ROCK BAND LOST COUSINS TO RELEASE DEBUT MUSIC VIDEO

lost cousinsComing in hot from a banner year, Toronto indie rock quartet Lost Cousins are excited to release their debut music video for their latest single ‘Feel an Emotion.’ Premiering exclusively on Noisey thisFriday, March 5, this video is the final piece of the puzzle that secures their status a band to look out for in 2016.

Directed by Czlowiek Kamera (Half Moon Run, Cairo), ‘Feel an Emotion’ personifies the journey one takes in exploring the different spaces and depths within a relationship. Shot throughout the beautiful landscapes of Norway, Kamera combines intricate scenic textures with the simplicity of everyday life to create a piece of work that moves viewers with each frame. The coupling of intriguing imagery with the calming tempo lulls viewers into the explorative space at the heart of the lyrics.

After the release of their debut EP Not Now What We Were and a Top 10 finish in CBC Music’s national Searchlight competition, the quartet spent the summer months honing their craft while continuing to build a reputation for their high-energy live show. In addition to performing at the inaugural WayHome Music and Arts Festival, the group has shared the stage with some of Canada’s most celebrated acts such as Hollerado, Young Rival, The Wooden Sky, and Zeus.

Having spent February on the east coast of Canada and the US, the group is now performing across their home province of Ontario to cap off the season. With more summer dates to be announced, be sure to keep a close eye on the band’s website and social media pages for further updates.
